The Anode Slot Cutting Machine is designed to cut two longitudinal slots on carbon anodes of various sizes. The machine offers exceptional flexibility in slot depths, withs, and shapes, combined with an extended blade life. The primary purpose of cutting slots on a carbon anode is to enhance the release of gas bubbles (CO2 – CO) generated during the electrolysis process at the bottom of the anode.
